WebJan 5, 2016 · C:\Windows\Temp fills up with corrupt Cabinet files. The corrupt Cabinet files consume about 200MiB+ per day, and cannot be cleared by rebooting. Unfortunately, you must manually delete the big CBS log file and remove the corrupt cabinet files. This was an design flaw in Windows 7 that could have been avoided by either: WebIt's most likely safe to delete. If you were curious, you could open it up and look inside the CABinet file. It might have some INFs or text files which may give you some info on what it belongs to. Just checked it out with WinRAR, turns out it was from an MMO that I guess just didn't want to uninstall the CABs!
