WebOct 31, 2010 · I pre-clean the brass with a liquid cleaner that I make. After the brass is fully dry, I de-prime, clean the primer pockets and tumble. Even though I use carbide dies, I still like to pre-clean the brass. I tried tumbling the brass with the primers in but I had too many with media being stuck in the flash holes.
