Knee sounds like popcorn
WebJun 5, 2014 · The noise is hard to describe. It just sounds like popcorn popping back there. It's not to loud nor to soft either. I know it's not oil or radiator fluid boiling. I've experience that before. It happens random, when the car is cold or after the car is warm from driving BUT only when the engine is off. WebOpen it up, turn it on, look inside and see where the noise is coming from. It sounds like something is hitting a fan, but hard to tell. Yeah, no noise like that is normal. Only normal sound coming from the inside should be the fans revving up to cool the computer down. I think I know computers, but I don't.
