Web4 dec. 2024 · Hi Julia. It does sound like relapsing - remitting MS. If your MRI of the brain did not show lesions, you still could have MS. Most of MS patients do have lesions and an MRI of the brain is done with and without contrast (dye) One other test that is 95 % positive comes from a lumbar puncture. Web24 feb. 2010 · I think those are the main ones. I have had multiple MRIs of my brain including a 3T MRI but everything was normal. So they say that MS has been ruled out. I was given a diagnosis of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome but now the dr says that is not what I have.

Mind you, my MS doesn't appear to be particularly aggressive, and I only have 5 lesions (2 brain, 3 cervical) that don't cause me too much problem. Just been lucky so far I guess? WebIt’s possible: I only have lésions in the brain stem and c2 levels But please don’t assume or panic Be well 😊. Edit: you do need some lesions in brain or spine though, no lesions at all equals not MS. It helps to keep a log of symptoms as they come and go so that you don't forget to tell your doctors anything.
